Liz Powers is the co-founder and CEO of ArtLifting, a business that champions artists with disabilities. She is driven by ArtLifting’s incredible artists. Her dream is to share their work with the world while also making the economy more inclusive. The inspiration for ArtLifting came from Liz’s experiences as a volunteer social worker from 2007-2010 and founding art groups in shelters for unhoused people from 2010-2012. After founding ArtLifting with $4K of savings in 2013, Liz scaled the company and has sold tens of millions of dollars of artwork. Artists earn the majority of profit from art sales and have earned over $10 million collectively due to partnerships with 500 corporate partners spread across 5 continents. Liz was selected for Forbes “30 Under 30” and Boston Globe’s “Game Changers.” Liz has given speeches about social change for the last 15 years. She has given keynotes to crowds of 5,000. Liz has spoken at TEDx, CoreNet Global Summit, FedEx, Fidelity, and South By Southwest. Liz has an AB, cum laude, from Harvard College and MSc from the University of Edinburgh. Her impact has been featured in the New York Times, TODAY Show, CBS, ABC, and the Washington Post.
