Ellen Rubin

Ellen Rubin is a repeat entrepreneur, CEO, and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling enterprise technology companies. As an Operating Partner at Glasswing Ventures, she works closely with portfolio companies developing AI and frontier technologies, drawing on experience spanning company formation, product development, enterprise go-to-market, fundraising, and acquisitions. Rubin previously served as VP of Marketing at Netezza through its IPO, founded hybrid-cloud pioneer CloudSwitch, which was acquired by Verizon, and founded ClearSky Data, acquired by Amazon Web Services in 2019. She later became General Manager of hybrid cloud storage services at AWS and most recently founded Causely, a causal AI platform for DevOps. A Harvard Business School graduate, Rubin is also active as a board member and investor in Boston’s technology and startup community.
