Bio
Jeffrey Bussgang is a Senior Lecturer in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at the Harvard Business School (HBS) as well as Co-Founder and General Partner at Flybridge Capital Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm with over $1 billion under management and offices in New York City and Boston. At HBS, he teaches Launching Technology Ventures in (a class focusing on pre-product-market fit startups) and Venture Capital Journey (for aspiring venture capitalists) as well as Scaling Minority Businesses.
Bussgang is the author of two books – Entering Startupland (for startup joiners) and Mastering the VC Game (for founders) – as well as over 50 HBS case studies on startups and the HBS Online course Launching Tech Ventures.
Bussgang’s civic work includes serving as co-founder and board chair of Hack.Diversity, a workforce development program to help Black and LatinX professionals gain access to the innovation economy, as well as a board member at Facing History and Ourselves, an educational nonprofit.
