Ajit Nagral is Chairman and CEO at Scitara Corporation. A seasoned entrepreneur who has built multiple companies in the Technology and Life Science domain that have generated thousands of jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue over their lifetime. Successfully created sustainable market brands that continue to lead, innovate, and deliver critical value to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. In 2019, founded Scitara Corporation, a SaaS provider of an industry-leading scientific integration platform, focused on digital transformation of laboratories in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and related industries. Prior to Scitara, founded Sciformix Corporation in 2007, a leading provider of safety, clinical, and regulatory services to biopharmaceutical, generic pharmaceutical, consumer product, medical device, and contract research companies. Sciformix established a large global footprint across North America, Europe, and Asia. In June, 2018, Sciformix was acquired by LabCorp (NYSE: LH), an S&P 500 company, providing comprehensive clinical laboratory and end-to-end drug development service. Prior to Sciformix, founded NuGenesis Technologies Corporation in 1996, a company that became a worldwide leader in Scientific Data Management. The company’s flagship product NuGenesis SDMS became the gold standard for managing laboratory data in the Life Science industry. Recipient of key patents for the “print to database” technology that forms the basis of NuGenesis SDMS. In 2004, NuGenesis was acquired by Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT) a multi-billion dollar Life Science company. Currently serving the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as a member of one of Honorable Governor Charlie Baker's Advisory Council. A Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs and served on the Board of Trustees of TiE Mumbai. An active investor and advisor to several startups in India and the U.S.
