David Jenkins

David has worked in the pharma/biotech industry for 20 years and currently leads the Global External Innovation team at Ipsen, identifying and evaluating Oncology, Rare Disease and Neuroscience opportunities (preclinical through marketed assets) to build Ipsen’s pipeline for the near-, mid- and long term. Prior to Ipsen, he built the Immuno-Oncology Translational Research group at TESARO, developing a large network of academic and industrial collaborators to advance the companies Immuno-Oncology programs as well as research activities. He has also held various program leadership and R&D positions at AstraZeneca/MedImmune and Novartis with a focus on biologic/small molecule therapies across therapeutic areas. David received his Masters and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge, U.K.
